Film przydatny w naprawie 20/30D, ale NIE! 40/50D ! Jest calkiem inaczej w tych modelach, spust? jest wkrecony dodatkowa plytka do gornej obudowy (nie dolnej jak 20/30D) oraz w srodku 40D leci kabel i ciezko wogole zjac gorna obudowe…..

Great job dude! Ive taken apart dozens of laptops, cellphones and iPods, but? I’d never dream of taking apart my T2i.. canon cameras seem like such complicated and precise machines!

The fiber optic cable doesn’t necessarily have to be removed, just carefully flip the top of the camera to the back – then the fiber cable can stay on there.

Excellent! Thank you very much. One question, I have? bent pins in the Compact flash bay. Can I remove the back of the the camera to get access to the pins to straighten them out? Or do I need to remove all of the screws you did (top, front, etc …). Thanks much!

Just got my 40D back in working order! It was a bit different, but the canon service manual really helped out. The major difference between the 30D and 40D seems to be a pesky fiber optic? cable that goes from the main board to the pop-up flash. You have to remove the rubber sealer they used to hold it in to get it out and it’s a pain. Thanks for the video, it gave me the assurance to fix my camera. Now to decide whether to sell it or keep it as a backup to my new 7D.

@tzethye i believe this space among specifically semi pro and professional is small these days.? d7000 is all we all need. go to… freedslr dot com change dot with . and get the chance to bring home completely new Nikon D7000

Is my 50D also affected by this shutter button problem?… and what exactly is the problem and what? causes it? I have not experienced any problems with the shutter button, not yet anyway. But should that problem ever come up, I am sure I won’t be spending $300 on repair!
And any information on how to DIY is welcome. So thank you for sharing the knowledge!
