Minolta AF 50mm F1.7 on a Sony camera?
Question by : Minolta AF 50mm F1.7 on a Sony camera?
I have a Sony A33 and I found out that some minolta lenses work on modern Sony cameras. I found this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Minolta-AF-50mm-F1-7-Caps-Box-And-Instructions-/270722320971?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_CameraAccessories_CameraLensesFilters_JN&hash=item3f084eca4b on ebay, will this work on my A33 (or just the ‘Maxxum’ ones?) Thanks

All Minolta Auto-Focus lenses work on all Sony dSLRs including the A33 and A55.
The Minolta 50mm f1.7 is a great lens and there are plenty on eBay. Expect to pay between £70-90.
