Sony NEX-7 or Canon 7d?

PEN camera and DSLR, i’ve tried PEN cameras and it’s not bad i own a NEX-5 which is a realy good camera, but i want upgrade to something better, I love the 7d but i could afford it at that moment, but now there is a NEX-7 i saw some reviews for this camera it got 24MP and a low noise at high ISO lower noise than the 7d, so im confused which to get, these two cameras got similar prices, so what do you think?

Personally I would choose Canon, Canon and Nikon are the top two in the market place right now.

what should i look for when i buy this kind of mirrorless dslr which could ensure as good picture as other bulky dslr.
some camera like sony nex 3/5 give ISO 200-12800 and over 14 megapixel .is this level of ISO really necessary

The Sony is a new camera with a limited lens selection. The picture quality should be really good. Priced around $ 700 US
The Nikon is an older model that will take good pictures also.
The Nikon will have a wide assortment of lenses new and used.
A better choice would be the Nikon 3100 at about the same price. $ 700 US
