i couldnt find any way to download from sony official website, strange… id recommend to contact local dealer or phone technical support of sony

I wanted to say I save the photos I want to my computer buy I own a Sony DSC-H55 and with Sonys PMB software it recognizes my camera imports right away and a click on the pic or group of pics a click on Facebook icon and upload and viola, its on Facebook. I do this because its sipler than my pcs software and I don’t want to keep slot of the stuff I put on Facebook. My girlfriend owns the NIKON and I was hoping they made somthing as simple for her as NIKON has for me. But if not, I guess 3rd party it is. By the way you make it sound like posting on Facebook is juvenile or somthing like that. Let me tell you, if you don’t post on Facebook these days your in the minority. To each his own but it just sounded as if you were trying to sound superior or somthing.

While Nikon does have a program for processing RAW image files, it is much easier to use Adobe Lightroom 3..
In Lightroom 3 you can not only process RAW image files, but can upload specific images to social media sites like Facebook, Flickr and Smugmug.
Adobe Lightroom 3 can be used with any dSLR

Where can i find the part number for specific parts in Sony’s vx2000 camera?
Question by : Where can i find the part number for specific parts in Sony’s vx2000 camera?
I’ve been looking for a specific ribbon cable inside the camera that connects the power and tape control functions to the main chip in the middle. Its a small ribbon with 3 thick lines and a few more smaller lines. It recently got a crack in it, I’m assuming cause of the cold. I noticed small play back issues and opened her up and found this crack. All i need is the part number so i can order the part and replace the ribbon, but I’ve been looking for 2 weeks for it, and have yet to find it. I’ve looked in service manuals, but they don’t layout the part numbers as i need so i can look it up in the Sony parts store. Thank you to anyone who can help. Its probably the longest ribbon in the thing, seeing as it splits 5-6 times to control all mode functions, along with zoom and recording, and more. Its annoying that there’s no simple way to find this part, as replacing it to me is quite easy. I’ve 500+ hours of professional training working on electronics like this, its just finding the part numbers always are such a pain. Thanks to anyone who can help 
P.S. taking it to a repair place is not an option, it’ll cost way too much for some work I can do.

You might be better off buying a non-working vx2000 and using it for parts. Check on ebay and craig’s list.
You could try contacting Sony’s service center and ask about getting a schematic of your camera which should show part numbers and ask if you could buy the part, if available from them.
Your last option is to take the camera to your local video camera repair shop and see if they have the part. I wouldn’t be surprised if they even had Sony’s part numbers. Our local shop was able to order a part overseas for one of my cameras.
